Nelda Dunkle of La Pryor passed away on July 8, 2022 at her residence at the age of 88.
She was born on December 3, 1933 in Uvalde, Texas to Sophie (Heine) and Tom Gary.
She married Frank Dunkle Jr. in Crystal City on August 2, 1957.
She is survived by her son, Gary Dunkle and wife, Joanna of La Pryor; and grandchildren, Jennifer Boxwell, Rebecca Boxwell, Meagan Dunkle and McKenzi Dunkle.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Raeann Boxwell, and brother, M.E. Gary.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Interment will follow at La Pryor Cemetery.
