Martha Smith

Ms. Martha Adrian Latimer Smith was born December 20, 1935 in Uvalde, Tx. to Dr. Wilson Adrian Latimer and Rubye Katherine Latimer. For 31 years she was a devoted school teacher touched many childrens lives before she retired in 2002 from Eagle Pass Independent School District.

She passed away April 19, 2007 in Retama Manor in Jourdanton, Tx. at the age of 71.

She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Ann Stehle of Nordheim, Tx.; Laurie Beth Smith of Round Rock, Tx.; Linda Catherine Garcia of Eagle Pass, Tx.; sister, Mary Latimer of Austin, Tx.; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents sisters, Betty Lane Joan Daniel.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 3:30 PM in Uvalde Cemetery, Uvalde, Texas. Rev. Don Tumlinson will officiate.
