Maria T. Ybarra, 79, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on April 13, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born on July 20, 1946, in Edcouch, Texas to Ramonsita (Rubio) and Domingo Trevino.
She married Regulo R. Ybarra on November 27, 1965, in Morengo, Illinois.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years of Uvalde; daughter, Anjelica Ybarra of Uvalde; two sons, Ruben Ybarra, and wife, Debbie and Raul Ybarra and wife, Belinda all of Uvalde; sister, Juanita Charo of San Antonio; brother, Manuel Trevino of Uvalde; 10 grandchildren, Ruben ”Little Ruben” Ybarra, Jr., Krystina Ybarra, Roberto Ybarra, Marcos Ybarra, Andres J. Garcia, Ashley Ybarra-Garcia, Alejandro Garcia, Amber Aguilera, Jason Mireles, and Brandon Mireles; 14 great grandchildren, Aliandra Garcia, Gabriela Maria Ybarra, Santiago Lopez, Elena Garcia, Roberto Regulo Ybarra, Nicholas Garcia, Estella Lopez, Javier Ybarra, Ryan Ybarra, Riley Ybarra, Donovan Galindo, Damian Martinez, Luke Martinez, and Rogelio Silvestre Mireles.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Teresa Rodriguez, Josefa Contreras, Hortencia T. Vara; and brother, Juan Jose Trevino.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, April 17, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Andres J. Garcia, Alejandro R. Garcia, Little Ruben Ybarra, Marcos Ybarra, Lorenzo Garcia, Devin Galindo, Jason Mireles and Brandon Mireles.
Honorary pallbearer will be Santiago Regulo Lopez.
