Maria Ramos

Maria Selia Ramos, of Batesville, passed away at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota on Friday, September 24, 2021, at the age of 69.  Maria was born on November 2, 1951, in Batesville, Texas to Benito and Tomasa(Garza) Hernandez.

Visitation will begin on Friday, October1, 2021 at 4:00 pm followed by a rosary at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Batesville. Interment will follow at Batesville Cemetery.

Maria married Jose Luis Ramos on May 14, 1968.

Maria is survived by her daughter, Marivel Ramos of Minnesota; son, Eliazar Hernandez and partner, Miguel Rangel of Batesville; sisters, Olga Rodriguez, Gloria Cuellar, Esmeralda Cantu, of Batesville, Bertha Garcia of Illinois, and Rosa Torres of Plainview; brothers, Benito Hernandez of Houston, and Israel Hernandez of Batesville; grandchildren, Justin Rios, Isaul Rios, and Nathaniel Rios; numerous nieces and nephews.
