ar of La Pryor passed away on March 1, 2009 at the Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 89. She was born on October 7, 1919 in Cloete Coahuila, Mexico to Gregorio and Francisca Sal
ar. She is survived by; one brother; Pedro Sal
ar Sr. of La Pryor, Texas; three nieces and two nephews which she raised after their mother passed away; Irma Perez; Rogelio Sal
ar and wife, Blanca; Carlos Sal
ar and wife, Sylvia; and Janie Jacquez and husband, Lloyd all of La Pryor, Texas; and Carmen Ramirez and husband, Moses of Harvard, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; Sixto Sal
ar; one sister; Manuela Hernandez and one nephew; Pedro Sal
ar Jr. who she also raised. A prayer service will be held on Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Iglesia De Getsemani in La Pryor, Texas with burial to follow in La Pryor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rogelio Sal
