Maria C. Llanes of Knippa, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at her residence at the age of 81.
Maria was born on November 29, 1940 in Knippa, Texas to Francisco and Agripina (Cervantez) Vasquez.
She married Manuel Llanes on September 27, 1957 in Harvey, Illinois,.
She is survived by ten children, numerous grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, brother, Francisco Vasquez, Jr. of Katy, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, multiple brothers and sisters.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Rushing Estes Knowles Mortuary. A rosary will be held on the same day at 7:00 Pm at Rushing Estes Knowles Mortuary. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Knippa, Texas. Interment will follow at Knippa Catholic cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Knippa and Sabinal Food Pantry.
