Margaret Lillian Lil Gass of Uvalde passed away on October 15, 2012 in a Georgia hospital at the age of 79. She was born on February 8, 1933 in Shelby County, AL to George Wallace and Lois Scott Evans. She married Lemuel Gass on March 6, 1953 in Georgia. He preceded her in death on February 18, 2012. She is survived by a daughter, Denise Staton and husband, Thomas of Boerne: son, Randy Gass and wife, Erica of San Antonio and four grandchildren, Kristen Ancilloti Emily Hannigan Amanda Gass and Nathaniel Gass. Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Hillcrest Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Gass, Paul Gass, Jr., George Morgan, Wayne Cave, Michael Olson, Tommy Arp, Scott Olson, and Keith Olson.
