Manuela Sepeda

Manuela Sepeda passed away on December 26, 2007 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 88. She was born on November 2, 1919 in Uvalde, Texas to Pantaleon and Maria Flores. She is survived by daughters; Blanca Velasquez and husband, Remi; Dora Estrada and husband, Bob all of Uvalde; son Joe Sepeda and wife, Martha of San Antonio, Texas; sister Eloisa O. Flores of Uvalde; grandchildren; Yvonne Bonnie Chapa; Robert A. Velasquez; Blanca A. Castillo; Cindy Soto; Leticia Rodriguez; Robert Estrada II; Raquel Sepeda; Michael Barba; and Carlos Martinez; great-grandchildren; Ray Chapa IV; Abraham Chapa; Matthew Chapa; Amanda Velasquez; Robert Christopher Velasquez; Alan Joel Velasquez; Jessica Velasquez; Freddie Castillo II, Chelsea Soto; Peter Soto IV; Dominique Estrada; Jaymi Jo Rodriguez; Joe Ruben Rodriguez; Juliah Rodriguez; Brihana Estrada; Adriana Estrada; Clarissa Estrada; and Jennifer Rodriguez; great-great-grandchildren; Geovanni Velasquez; Marissah Martinez; and Noemi Belen Barba; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Simon G. Sepeda; parents; Pantaleon and Maria Flores; sisters; Anita Flores and Eloisa Flores; great-great-grandaughter; Zoe Madison Chapa. A rosary will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007, at 7:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Fr. Wieslaw Iwaniec will officiate. Pallbearers will be Robert Velasquez; Robert Estrada II; Peter Soto IV; Ray Chapa IV; Abraham Chapa; and Robert Christopher Velasquez.
