Manuel Santos Quijano

Manuel Santos Quijano, 99, of Uvalde passed away on June 17, 1927, at his residence.

He was born on June 17, 1927, in Owosso, Michigan to Refugia (Santos) and Jose Quijano.

He is survived by five daughters, Refugia Vasquez and husband, Robert, Mary Padilla and husband, Fermin all of Uvalde; Rosie Martinez, Sandra Swartz and husband, Kenneth, and Angie Garcia all of California; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Petra Garza; sons, Carlitos Quijano, Manuel Quijano, Johnny Quijano, Joe Quijano, Gabriel Quijano, Richard Quijano, and daughter, Angela Quijano.

Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
