Mable Roberta Schmidt of Sabinal passed away on December 9, 2015 in Hondo at the age of 92. She was born on May 17, 1923 in Concan to Linson McNair and Della Daughty McNair. She is survived by two sons, Jerod "Poncho" Schmidt, Jr. and wife, Beverley, and Billy Riggs and wife, Marilyn all of Sabinal; daughter, Darlene Long and husband, Earl of San Antonio; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerod Schmidt, Sr. and a daughter, Carol Ann Ingenhuett. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Sabinal Cemetery. Mr. Paul Stephens will officiate.
