Lydia Gonzalez

Lydia Gonzalez of Garland, Texas, formerly of Uvalde, Texas passed away on April 10, 2022, at her residence at the age of 64.
She was born on September 8, 1957, in Piedras Negras, Mexico to Arnulfo Gonzalez and Juanita Balderas.
She is survived by her sisters, Maria Elena Delgado of Eagle Pass, Marisela Gonzalez of Seguin, Sonia Mejia of Winter Haven, Florida and Juanita Garcia of Dallas; brothers, Martin Gonzalez of Seguin, Juan Manuel Gonzalez of Uvalde and Arnulfo Gonzalez, Jr. of Seguin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Santa Lopez.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Martin Gonzalez, Juan Manuel Gonzalez, Arnulfo Gonzalez, Jr.
