Linda Brown

Linda Marie Brown of Utopia passed away on January 8, 2019 in San Antonio at the age of 77. She was born on March 17, 1941 in Hondo, Texas to Roy Newell and Bina Lee (Martin) Matthews.
She married Kenneth Brown in Clayton in New Mexico on March 3, 1960.
Linda is survived by her husband of 58 years; children, Lance Matthews Brown and wife, Lily of Universal City and Kalli Elizabeth Brown- Davis and husband, Gary Lynn, Jr. of Utopia; grandchildren, Matthew Dean Brown and wife, Zylpha of Stephenville; Bradley Davis and Ansleigh Davis both of Utopia, Eric Brown, Alexander Brown, Zachary Brown, Elyana Brown all of Universal City; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery in Utopia at 2:00 p.m.
