Leonor Cuellar

Leonor G. Cuellar of Uvalde passed away December 7, 2007 at her residence in Uvalde, Texas. She was born July 2, 1920 in Knippa, Texas; to Jose Victoria Gonzales. She married Santos V. Cuellar in El Paso, Texas on March 21, 1942. She is survived by daughters, Veronica C. Villarreal husband, Joe; Enriqueta C. Castro husband, Samuel; Leticia C. Lopez; Gilda C. Lopez husband, Guadalupe, all of Uvalde; Vanessa C. Leal husband, David of Laredo, Texas; sisters; Francisca Martinez; Magdalena Canales; Lucia Ybarra all of Uvalde. 21 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-laws, Guadalupe Cuellar, Dolores Gonzales; brother-in-law, Rudolfo Cuellar wife, Damiana. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Santos V. Cuellar; brother, Medardo Gonzales; brother-in-law, Jose V. Cuellar; great-grandson, John Paul Castillo. A rosary will be held on Saturday Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 10, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Fr. Wieslaw Iwaniec will officiate. Pallbearers will be Michael Villarreal; Samuel C. Castro Jr.; Lee Roy Lopez; Guadalupe Lopez Jr.; Christopher Leal; Ben Lopez. Honorary Pallbearers Candelario Sonshine Canales III; Marcos Munoz Jr.; Austin Lopez.
