Juan Carlos Rangel

Juan Carlos Rangel, 66, of Uvalde, Texas passed away at Methodist Metropolitan Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born on July 26, 1959, in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Regina (Reyes) and Rodrigo Rangel.

He married Betty Gonzales on Jun 1, 2005, in Uvalde, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Gonzales of Uvalde; father, Rodrigo Rangel; son, Juan C. Rangel, Jr. of San Antonio; daughter, Maria Francsica Rangel of San Antonio; two sisters, Cessa Maria Rangel of Kansas, TX and Martha Rangel of Monterrey, Mexico; four brothers, Juan De Dios Rangel, Ricobeto Rangel, Fernando Rangel, and Jose Rangel all of Kansas, Texas; stepchildren, Dolores Garcia of San Antonio, Leonela Ortiz of Uvalde, Juan Francisco Garza of Edinburg and Jose Ernesto Garza of McAllen; 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at  11 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
