Juan G. Sanchez, 66, of Uvalde, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on March 28, 1959, in Michoacán, Mexico, to Agueda Garibay and Ramiro Sanchez.
Juan married Maria Carla Trujillo on December 12, 1982, in Santa Ana, California. Together, they built a loving family and shared 43 beautiful years of marriage.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Maria Sanchez, of Uvalde; two daughters, Carina Ochoa and husband, Noe, and Klarissa Jabines and husband Dylan, all of San Antonio; one son, Noel Sanchez and wife, Alejandra Castaneda, of San Antonio; five sisters, Leticia Moreno of Uvalde, Maria Hernandez of Washington, Agueda Rivera of New Jersey, Elia Sanchez of Mexico, and Alma Perez of California; four brothers, Sergio Sanchez of Idaho, Luis Sanchez of Mexico, Miguel Sanchez of Washington, and Ramiro Sanchez of California; eight beloved grandchildren, Noah Ochoa, Eli Ochoa, Nolan Ochoa, Aleenah Sanchez, Madison Sanchez, Benjamin Sanchez, Alexander Jabines, and Cruz Jabines; and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Agueda and Ramiro Sanchez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
A chapel service and entombment will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Chapel and Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Road, San Antonio, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Noel Sanchez, Noe Ochoa, Noah Ochoa, Dylan Jabines, Sergio Sanchez, and Miguel Sanchez.
