Juan Escamilla

Mr. Juan M. Escamilla of Uvalde passed away May 11, 2007 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 73.

He was born August 17, 1933 in Hondo, Tx. to Luis Isabel Escamilla.

He is survived by daughters, Rosa Mary Estrada and Hermelinda Rodriguez, both of San Antonio; sons, Johnny Escamilla of Uvalde ; Ray Escamilla Daniel Escamilla, both of San Antonio; sisters, Julieth Morales; Cleotilde Escamilla; Sofia Decker; Lydia Lovato; Belia Aguilar, all of San Antonio; brothers, Fedencio Escamilla Efrain Escamilla, both of Hondo, Tx. and Oscar Escamilla of Kerrville; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florinda Escamilla daughter, Diana Escamilla.

A rosary was held on Sunday at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel.

Graveside services were held Monday, May 14, 2007 at 11:00 am in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Joe Torres; Joe Torres; Pat Rodriguez; Gregorio Rodriguez; Ruben Guerrero; Ramon Buruato.

Arrangements were by Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
