Joyce Anna Villanueva

Joyce Anna Villanueva, 75, of La Pryor, Texas passed away on July 13, 2025, at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Crystal City. Interment will follow at La Pryor Cemetery.

She was born on September 16, 1949, in Crystal City, Texas to Mattie (Russel) and Leon McNeil.

She married Valentin Villanueva, Jr., on March 5, 1987, in Crystal City, Texas.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years La Pryor; two brothers, Raymond McNeil of Ft. Worth and Royce McNeil of Crystal City.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Leon McNeil, Jr.
