Josephine Stevenson Noble was born on September 18, 1918, in Uvalde, Texas to William Douglas and Cleo Flynt Stevenson.  She died June 23, 2019.  Mrs. Noble was a life-long resident of Uvalde County.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Edward Noble; a son, George Lawrence Noble II, and two sisters, Barbara Sellers and Mary Sue Stevenson.

She is survived by two daughters: Susan Noble of Uvalde and Teemus Noble Warner and husband, Jimmy of Waco; two grandchildren: Rebecca Warner Atkinson and husband, Derrick of Fort Worth and John Noble Warner and wife Deborah of Waco; and three great grandchildren: Asa James Warner, Emma Grace Atkinson, and Noble Ann Warner.

A rosary will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. with private family interment in the Montell Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Society, the El Progreso Library, or the charity of your choice.
