Johnny Vasquez
March 17, 1929 — August 1, 2012
Johnny A. Vasquez Sr. of Uvalde passed away on August 1, 2012 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 83. He was born on March 3, 1929 in Knippa to Antonio and Costancia Alvarez Vasquez. He is survived by his son, Johnny Vasquez Jr. and wife Rosa of Uvalde grandchildren, Anthony JonMichael Vasquez, Johnny Vasquez III and Selena Vasquez. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Martinez Vasquez. A rosary will be held on Friday August 3, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
