Johnny B. Coronado

Johnny B. Coronado, 72, of Uvalde passed away on September 15, 2024, at St. Lukes Hospital in San Antonio.

The family will greet visitors from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. 

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. 

He was born on September 9,1952 in Uvalde, Texas to Gregoria (Benitez) and Telesforo I. Coronado.

He is survived by his mother, Gregoria B. Coronado of Uvalde; sister, Florence Vera and husband, Juan of Uvalde; two brothers, Alex Coronado and companion, Sylvia Fernandez of Uvalde and Telesforo “T.C.” Coronado, Jr., and wife, Yovanca of San Angelo; six nieces; four nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his father; niece, Naomi Mason and nephew, Tom Mason.
