Joanna Alvarado
Joanna Alvarado, 58, of Sabinal, Texas passed away on August 19, 2026, at her residence.
She was born on September 9, 1967, in Hondo, Texas to Carmen (Rodriguez) and Zijifredo Alvarado.
She is survived by her mother, Carmen R. Alvarado of Sabinal; two brothers, Victor Alvarado and Paco Alvarado both of Sabinal; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sabinal Cemetery.
