Jesus Roque, Sr.

Jesus G. Roque, Sr. of Uvalde passed away August 13, 2007 in San Antonio, Tx. at the age of 70.

He was born January 1, 1937 in Villa De Fuente Coah., Mexico, to Carmen Paula Roque.

He is survived by sons, Juan Roque wife, Cynthia of Uvalde, Tx.; Jesus Roque, Jr. wife, Lisa of Lawton, Ok. ; Christobal Roque wife, Adela of Uvalde, Tx.; daughters, Santa Perez husband, Hugo; Anna Hernandez Paula Roque, all of Uvalde, Tx.; brothers, Manuel Roque of Eagle Pass, Tx.; Roberto Roque of Pasadena, Tx.; sisters, Maria Luisa Roque of Salinas, Ca.; Francisca Roque Yolanda Roque, both of Villa De Fuente, Coah., Mexico; 14 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maria Del Rufugio Mauricio; sons, Jesus Roque Mario Roque; brothers, Mario Roque Juan Roque.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday Thursday at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Juan Roque; Jesus Roque; Christobal Roque; Hugo Perez; Roberto Roque; Eric Hernandez.

Arrangements are by Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
