Jesse M. Martinez

Jesse M. Martinez, 44, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on May 21, 2026, in Uvalde Texas.

He was born on June 16, 1981, in Uvalde, Texas to Dora Martinez Arizmendi.

He is survived by his mother of Uvalde; daughters, Madison Ray Lynn Martinez and husband, Brandon Earlwood of San Angelo and Lilliana Martinez of Adrian, Michigan; nieces and nephews, Jose Vasquez of Bethesda, Maryland, Catherine Nicole Elizalde and husband, Emilio of San Antonio; and Tessa Marie Vasquez of Uvalde; granddaughter, Emerson Martinez of San Angelo; his favorite cousin, Shirley Perez; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred T. Arizmendi; sister, Michelle M. Martinez; maternal grandmother, Lydia B. Flores, and maternal great grandparents, Leocadio L. and Elvira B. Flores.

Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Interment of ashes will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
