Jaylyn Mata

Jaylyn Fae Mata of Uvalde passed away on July 22, 2019 in San Antonio at the age of 11. She was born on June 27, 2008 in Uvalde to Valerie Velasquez.

She is survived by her mother, Valerie Victorino and husband, Juan; grandparents, Armando and Guadalupe Cruz of Uvalde; step father, Armando Alejandro of El Paso, Texas; step sister, Elizabeth Victorino of Dallas; step brother, Ethan Alejandro of San Antonio; brothers, Aedan Alejandro and Juan Victorino, Jr. both of Uvalde; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Visiation will be begin on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A memory service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 26,2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
