Isidro Luis Cahue Fernandez

Isidro Luis Cahue Fernandez, 63, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on November 18, 2025, at his residence.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

He was born on May 16, 1962, in Mexico to Concepcion (Fernandez) and Trinidad Cahue.

He married Maria Gonzalez in 1987, in Mexico.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Maria Cahue, of Uvalde; two daughters, Rosamaria Cahue and husband, Pedro and Andreana Cahue all of Uvalde; two sons, Alejandro Cahue and wife, Maria and Luis Cahue all of Uvalde; five sisters, Guadalupe Herrera of Chicago, Lucia Fernandez and husband, Rafael of Uvalde, Eliazar Gonzalez and husband, Jaime, Elena Colula and husband, Miguel all of Chicago, and Arminda Cahue and husband, Martin; three brothers, Amparo Cahue and wife, Claudia of Chicago, Ramon Cahue and wife Anita of Chicago, and Marcos Cahue and wife, Nancy of Hondo; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marcario Cahue; and sister, Irande Garcia.

Pallbearers will be Alejandro Cahue, Pedro Alcala, Nicolas Reyna, Marcos Cahue, Thomas Cahue and Miguel Partida.
