Irene Warren
June 6, 1939 — September 27, 2016
Irene Nava Warren of Uvalde passed away on September 27, 2016 at the age of 77. She was born on June 6, 1939 in Batesville, Texas to Santos and Teodora (Mares) Nava.
She is survived by her daughters, Senaida Hurtado and husband Gillermo of San Antonio and Aida Baca of Richmond; son, Efego Nava of Batesville, Arkansas; sisters, Anita Nava, Angelina Luna, and Celestina Elizondo all of Uvalde; brothers, Eddie Nava of Batesville, Polo Nava and Freddy Nava both of Uvalde; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lupe Nava, Willie Nava; and great-great grandson Christian Hurtado.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
