Henry Ella Collins of Uvalde passed away October 18, 2007 in Uvalde Healthcare Rehab Center at the age of 108.
She was born November 8, 1898 in Sweet Home, Texas to Henry Antonious Mary Elizabeth Key.
She is survived by 3 sons, Carvel Key Collins; Jack Forbes Collins Howard Lynn Collins, all of Uvalde, Tx.; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carvel E. Collins; 2 sons, Willie Davis Collins Nuel Joe Collins; a great-grandson, P.C. Taylor.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at First Baptist Church in Uvalde at 10:00 am. Bro. Johnney Whiteaker will officiate.
Memorials may be made to El Progreso Memorial Library or to the charity of ones choice.
Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
