Helen Mayer

Helen Elizabeth Mayer of San Antonio, formerly of Leakey, passed away after a lengthy illness on February 2, 2007 in Paramount Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in San Antonio, Tx at the age of 83. She is survived by four daughters, Dorothy Martin and husband Robert of San Antonio; Betty Jo Bates and husband Jerry of Concan; Ellen Jones and husband Gary of Katy, Tx.; and Linda Walston and husband Jerry of Mathis, Tx.; a son, Jay Mayer of San Antonio; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, John Ward Crosby, Jr. and wife Kay of Billings, Montana; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Franklin Mayer in 1980.
