Guadalupe Valdez Victorino

Guadalupe Valdez Victorino, 68, of La Pryor, passed away on January 21, 2026, at Amistad Nursing Home.

She was born on May 10, 1957, in Uvalde, Texas to Romana (Garza) and Ponciano Valdez. 

She is survived by her children, John David Victorino and wife, Rosalinda of Uvalde, Jose Victorino of La Pryor, Jose Roberto Victorino and wife, Alma of Uvalde, Alexis Victorino of Temple, Tx, Dolores Balderas and husband Joshua of La Pryor, and Pierre Dominic Valdez of La Pryor; sister, Juanita Ponce and husband, Felipe of Temple; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Maria de Jesus Mendoza, Dolores Ortiz, and Francisca Quijano; and brother-in-law, Joel Quijano. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at La Pryor Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Roman Valdez, Roy Resma, John Victorino Sr, John Victorino Jr, Jose Roberto Victorino, Angel Victorino, and Jose Victorino.
