Mr. Genaro Gomez Lopez of Uvalde passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 91. Mr. Lopez was born on July 10, 1925 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to Alejandra (Gomez) and Genaro Lopez. He married Serapia Martinez in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. He survived by his daughter, Maria Ramirez of Uvalde; one brother, Ausencio Lopez of Eagle Pass; five grandchildren, Roy Lopez Ramirez, Claudia A. Lopez Ramirez, Loida M. Lopez Ramirez, Jaime Lopez Ramirez and Iris N. Lopez Ramirez: numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Lopez was preceded in death by his wife, parents, four sisters and one brother.
Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
