Gary Johns

Gary Lee Johns of Uvalde passed away on December 5, 2019 in Uvalde at the age of 38.  He was born on August 31, 1981 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Terry Johns and Judy (Helms) Johns.

He is survived by his wife, Guadalupe (Balderas) Johns of Uvalde; his mother, Judy Helms of Chicago; stepfather, Jesse Alcozer of Chicago; daughters, Charlotte Lee Johns, Isabella Lee Johns, Magdalena Melendres, Delila Balderas and Mleah Garces all of Uvalde, sons, Enrique Johns, Joseph Balderas, Jordan Balderas and Jonah Balderas all of Uvalde, sisters, Victoria Alcozer of Chicago and Jennifer Johns of San Antonio; brothers, Johnathan Johns of Washington, James Ernest Gutierrez of Uvalde and Scott Johns of Utah and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Terry Lee Johns; grandfather, Homer Lee Johns and grandmother, Consuelo Helms.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 1:00 p.m to 3:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
