Francisca Lopez

Francisca Acevedo Lopez of La Pryor passed away on July 17, 2019 at her residence at the age of 90.  She was born on July 30, 1928 in Sabinas Hidalgo, Neuvo Leon, Mexico to Josefa Guevara and Sebastian Acevedo.  She is survived by two daughters, Yolanda Garcia and Minerva Razo; and two sons, Jesus Manuel Lopez and Ricardo Lopez, all of La Pryor; four sisters, Norma Cerna of California; Perla Palomo, Maria Del Refugio Ruiz, and Gloria Acevedo, all of Mexico; three brothers, Gerardo Acevedo and Jose Guadalupe "Pepe" Acevedo Salazar, both of Mexico; and Alejandro Acevedo of Pharr, TX; 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Antonio Lopez; son, Juan Antonio Lopez; and brother, Rodolfo Acevedo.  Funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 3:00 pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with burial to follow in La Pryor Cemetery.
