Frances Elizabeth Agee-Davis

Frances Elizabeth Pitts Agee Davis of La Pryor, passed away on September 11, 2023, at Katy, Texas at the age of ninety-nine.  Frances was born on June 16, 1924, in La Pryor Texas to Thomas Lawrence Pitts and Ada Amamda Pratt Pitts.

Frances married Elvis Agee on May 7, 1945, in Uvalde Texas. Several years after the passing of Elvis Frances married R.D. Davis on November 7, 1981.

She went to school at La Pryor High School and graduated 1941-1942. She worked as a beautician for several years and then a patient advocate for Alief General Hospital for many years. Frances was involved as an active member of the Church of Christ and a faithful Christian until her passing.

Frances is survived by Charles Agee, his wife Judy Agee, Peggy Davis McCormick, grandchildren Hunter, Haden, Harley Agee, and Jason McCormick; great grandchildren Alex McCormick; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Frances was preceded in death by Elvis Agee, R.D. Davis, Ruby Pitts Thompson, G.B. Pitts, Paul Pitts

Visitation will begin on September 22, 2023, at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral service will be held on September 23, 2023, at 1:30 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  Burial will follow at La Pryor Cemetery.
