Flora Estella Murillo

Flora Estella Murillo, 65, of Sabinal, Texas passed away on June 30, 2026, at Medina Regional Hospital in Hondo.

She was born on August 8, 1960, in Rio Grande City, Texas to Maria Guadalupe (Rodriguez) and Roel Cruz Treviño.

She is survived by her husband, Juan Murillo of Sabinal of 40 years; children, Melina Trevino and husband, Dimas of Uvalde, Pablo Gonzalez and wife, Susie of Sabinal, Saira Lemus and husband, Adrian of Hondo, and Eduardo Murillo and wife, Norma of Sabinal; brothers, Artemio Noel Cruz and Pedro A. Cruz both of Sabinal; 25 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 2 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Templo El Paraiso in Uvalde.

Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
