Estella Ruiz

Estella O. Ruiz of Uvalde passed away on November 5, 2018 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 61. She was born on July 28, 1957 in Uvalde to Jose Maria and Gregoria (Ovalle) Ruiz.
She is survived by her sisters, Lucy Olvedo and husband, Richard and Josie Zamora and husband, Juan all of Uvalde; nieces Stacy Zamora, Sofia Zamora, nephews; Juan Luis Zamora and Carlos Zamora all of Uvalde; uncles, Antonio Ovalle and wife, Rosa of Uvalde and Max Ovalle and wife, Maria of Houston; special friends, Peggy Luna, Laura Obregon and Danna Binder; provider, Frances Ramirez and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Antonio Luna, Tony Ovalle, Diego Ovalle, Joe Ovalle, Carlos Ovalle and Carlos Zamora. Honorary pallbearers will be Alamo Ambulance Staff.
