Esperanza Fernandez

Esperanza Jo Fernandez of Pearsall, formerly of Uvalde passed away on July 4, 2022, at her residence at the age of 26.

She was born on October 29, 1995, in Uvalde, Texas to Nancy (Guzman) and Emilio Fernandez.

She married Cintia Maria Uriegas on March 4, 2022, in Pearsall.

She is survived by her wife of Pearsall; mother, Nancy Gonzales and husband, Augustine; father, Emilio Fernandez and wife, Brenda; maternal grandmother, Mary Flores; four brothers, Emilio Fernandez Jr. and wife, Adrianna, Johnny Guzman and companion, Esmy Zamora, Juan Carlos Fernandez and wife, Benina and Miguel Fernandez, Justin Olivo; sister, Samantha Salas of Uvalde; all of Uvalde; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Eoudulia Davila and paternal grandfather, Samuel Fernandez.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
