Eduardo Arroyos, Sr.

Eduardo Arroyos, Sr. a long time resident of Uvalde, Texas passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at the age of 62.  He was born on January 16, 1960 in Lubbock, Texas to Marcelino M. Arroyos, Sr. and Rosario Gonzales.

He married Raquel Pargas on November 23, 2005 in Austin, Texas.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years of Uvalde, Texas; his mother, Rosario Arroyos of Austin, Texas; daughters, Amanda Arroyos and husband, Pedro Ruiz, Vanessa Arroyos, Clarice Arroyos and husband, John Paul Lopez, and Erica Escamilla and husband, Daniel all of Uvalde, Texas; sons, Eduardo Arroyos, Jr. and wife, Kim of San Antonio, Texas, Abram Arroyos and wife, Sonia of Beeville, Texas, and Steven Arroyos and wife, Kaleigh of Kingsbury, Texas; sisters, Leticia Rodriguez, of Florida, Rebecca Rodriguez, of Austin, Texas, Maria Kirk of Austin, Texas, Ida Garza of Austin, Texas, Maria Melendez of Uvalde, Texas, Rosa Cosme of Minnesota, and Myra Monroe of San Antonio; brothers, Marcelino Arroyos, Jr. of Austin, Texas, Juan Arroyos, Javier Gonzales, Pedro Gonzales, and Justin Arroyos all of Uvalde, Texas; 24 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Marcelino M. Arroyos and sister, Dora Salazar.

Visitation will begin on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Marcelino Arroyos, Jr., Eddie Arroyos, Jr., Abram Arroyos, Esteven Arroyos, Jake Arroyos, Eddie Arroyos, III,

Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Arroyos, Devin Arroyos, Caleb Arroyos, Lorenzo Arroyos, and Carlos Garza, Adrian Arroyos, Edwin Maisonet, Elias Maisonet, and Carlos Moreno.
