alignjustifyEdna Lucille Cook of Uvalde passed away on March 3, 2007 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 81. She was born on October 1, 1925 to Mead and Ethel McCammon. She married Clarence Cook in Uvalde on September 30, 1977. He preceded her in death in 1979. She is survived by a son, John Mallicoat of Richmond, TX; sister, Lucille Riddle of Ponderosa, CA; grandson, Tommy Mallicoat of Schertz, TX; and special friends, Louise Van Cleave, Audie Hoffman, Joleen Keeney; Ruth Wallace, and Bernice Ivy. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Hillcrest Cemetery. Mr. Paul Stephens will officiate. Arrangements are by Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
