Dr. Gregory Baber

Dr. Gergory Lee Baber, 77, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on September 24, 2025, at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on September 30, 2025, at 2 p.m. at St. Philips Episcopal Church.

Interment will be held on October 2, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Dr. Baber practiced dentistry in Uvalde for more than 40 years, serving the community through his office, Uvalde Dental Associates. He was also instrumental in helping to establish Our Health Dental Clinic in Uvalde.

He was born on June 19, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ruth (Lewis) and Harvey Earl Baber.

He married Tikimi Esparza on September 26, 2020, in Uvalde, Texas.

He is survived by his wife of five years of Uvalde; four daughters, Delaney Grace Baber, Araceli Velasquez, Hannah McCaslin and Kourtney McCaslin all of Uvalde; son, Sean Baber of Hollywood, FL; brother, Harvey Baber; and granddaughter, Maricela Cervantes of Uvalde.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
