Dorothy H. Bryant passed away on September 7, 2009 in Rockport Coastal Care Center, Rockport, TX at the age of 90. She was born on February 3, 1919 in Seaboard, NC to William and Ida Balmer. She is survived by a nephew, Robert Portis and wife, Brenda of Uvalde; and great-nephew, Michael B. Portis and wife, Shadi of Beverly, Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Bryant; and sister, Emma Flossie Butts. Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at 10:00 AM in Hillcrest Cemetery.
