Dorothy V. Beal of Uvalde passed away at Uvalde Memorial Hospital on June 22, 2013 at the age of 96. She was born on March 23, 1917 in Elton, Pennsylvania to Elmer and Alfrieda Wilkie Rose. She is survived by her sister, Gladys Berkebile of Somerset, PA and soninlaw, Chuck Vargulish of Uvalde. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Beal and brother, Cecil Rose and stepdaughter Donna Vargulish. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 7, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at New Testament Fellowship Church in Uvalde.
