Donald Timothy Hughes of Uvalde, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Amistad Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at age 77.
Donald was born on May 23, 1945 in Bath, New York to Joseph and Bernice (Roberts) O’Brochta, and adopted by Cornelia Hughes.
He was an Army veteran.
He married Shirley Robinson, August 4, 1970 in Uvalde, Tx.
Donald is survived by three daughters, Donna Hughes Dunlap and husband Charles of Austin, Connie Hughes Ward and husband Richard “Tag” of Round Rock and Stephanie Hughes Harrington and husband Dwayne of Sabinal; son, Joel Hughes and wife Claudia of Uvalde; four grandchildren, Roy Preciado, Michael Preciado, Brianna Preciado and Paige Ward.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two sisters, Pauline Rose Hargraves and Hattie June O’Brochta, three brothers, Frank O’Brochta, Paul E. O’Brochta and Albert Chester O’Brochta.
Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
