Delia Luna

Delia Luna of Uvalde passed away on November 14, 2009 in Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 38. She was born on May 23, 1971 in Uvalde, Texas to Daniel Jr. and Edelmira Luna. She is survived by her parents; Daniel and Edelmira Luna of Uvalde, Texas; paternal grandmother; Tomasa Luna of Uvalde, Texas; five sisters; Delma Flores and husband, Augustin Jr. of Killeen, Texas; Diana Luna, Daniella Linda Luna, and Deanne Marie Luna all of Uvalde, Texas; and Deflorinda Kalisek and husband, Chad of Pleasanton, Texas; one brother; Daniel S. Luna III of Uvalde, Texas; one nephew; Augustine Flores III; two nieces; Abigail N. Flores and Cheyenne A. Luna Mogford. She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Daniel Luna; maternal grandparents; Benito Arriaga and Adelmira Porras. A rosary will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Luis Zepeda III, Damian Zepeda, Hilberto Zepeda, Enrique Reyes Jr., Ernesto Reyes, Domingo Davila, Ramon Gonzales III, and Moses Gonzales.
