Daniel Martinez

Daniel Martinez of Uvalde passed away on February 25, 2018 at his residence at the age of 61. He was born on September 28, 1956 in Edcouch to Jose Martinez and Anita Benita (Martinez) Martinez. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Guadalupe Martinez; eight children, Celina Martinez and Daniel Martinez, Jr. and wife, Cristina, all of Edinburg; and Jose Daniel Martinez and wife, Nancy, Daniela Martinez, Ricardo Martinez and wife, Cynthia, Rosa Hernandez and husband, Jose, and Maria Elena Perez and husband, Juan, all of Uvalde, and Maribel Martinez Santillan and husband, Javier of Mexico; 22 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
Pallbearers will be Ricardo Martinez, Jose Daniel Martinez, Daniel Martinez Jr., Ricardo Martinez Jr., Carlos Ramos and Isaiah Perez.
