Daniel Gonzales of Uvalde passed away at Uvalde Memorial Hospital on July 8, 2011 at the age of 99. He was born on March 27, 1912 to Valente and Gregoria Rodriguez Gonzales in Sabinal, Texas. He is survived by his daughters Rosa Arroyos and husband Marcelino Ines Arroyos and husband Robert both of Uvalde Teresa Moreno of Hereford Texas, Asencion Gonzales and husband Bernardo of Cuidad Acuna, Mexico, Janey Vasquez of Brownwood Texas sons Enrique Ortega of Brownwood, Texas, John Daniel Gonzales of Abilene 28 grandchildren, 25 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his wife Juanita De Hoyos Gonzales and parents. Graveside service will be held on Sunday July 10, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
