Curtiss Bain

Curtiss Bain of Uvalde died on August 13, 2021 at his residence, at the age of 74 surrounded by his family. He was born on June 4, 1947 in Barksdale, Texas to Claud and Grace (Wells) Bain.

He married Frieda Rucker in Uvalde on July 18, 1980.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Frieda Bain; sons, David Willis and wife, Tina, Michael Willis and wife, Emily all of Uvalde, Lance Bain and wife, Cindy of Devine; daughter. Carla Keeney of Uvalde; grandchildren, Justine Mittelstadt, Zeb Keeney, Gina Beard, Elizabeth Bain, Matthew Bain, Nathan Bain, Avery Willis, Vada Willis, Devere Willis, Reed Willis and two great granddaughters.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Claud and Grace Bain, brother, Richard Bain, brother in laws, Slim Teague and Kenneth Perkins.

Honorary pallbearers are Brown White and Ken Stafford.  Pallbearers are Jody Easley, Corey Molloy, Garrett Paris, Claudie Berry, Kincaid Light, Tom Brewer and Jeff Vaughan.

Graveside service to be held Monday, August 16, at 10:00am at the Montell Cemetery, a gathering following the service will be held at the Montell Country Club
