Cristina Victorino

Cristina Victorino, 59, of La Pryor, Texas passed away on February 26, 2026, at Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital.

She was born on October 19, 1966, in Crystal City, Texas to San Juanita (Conde) and Felipe Villanueva.

She married Enrique Victorino on June 2, 1990, in La Pryor, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, of 35 years of La Pryor; father, Mario Castillo of La Pryor; daughter, Dulce Rubi Victorino and boyfriend, Rauel Pichardo, Jr. of San Antonio; son, Enrique Victorino, Jr. of La Pryor; sister, Dalia Alvarado and husband, Ricardo of La Pryor; brother, Shaun Villanueva and wife, Melody of Uvalde; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Felipe Villanueva, Jr. and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 2 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at  10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in La Pryor. Interment will follow at La Pryor Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ben Hernandez, Rauel Pichardo, Jr., Ricardo Alvarado, Jr., Darrius Ortiz, Santos Victorino, and Ricardo Victorino.

Honorary pallbearers will be Enrique Victorino, Jr., and Shaun Villanueva
