Corey Phillip Mansell

Corey Phillip Mansell, 33, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on March 25, 2025, in Batesville, Texas.

He was born on October 11, 1991, in San Antonio, Texas to Katherine (Jenkins) and Ed Stacey Mansell.

He married Mattea Cheri Duncan on November 15, 2019, in Uvalde, Texas.

He is survived by his wife of 5 years of Uvalde; three daughters, Addalynn, Brailynn, and Sunny all of Uvalde. His parents; father, Ed Mansell of Somerset; mother, Kathy Mansell of New Braunfels. Brother, Brant Mansell and wife, Tiffany of Somerset; two nephews, Lane and Cade Mansell both of Somerset.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

“Please join us in wearing colorful floral Sunday sundresses, starched jeans & your most beautiful button up. He loved a good fishing shirt also. All this to say don’t feel obligated to wear black, he would’ve liked that we’re doing things out of the norm. His favorite color was orange.”

Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
