Clifford Joe Scott of Montell, Texas, passed away on November 4th, at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 83.  He was born on January 6, 1939, to James William Scott and Lily Ann Mitchell.

He married Maxine Everett on December 27, 1958, in Uvalde, Texas.

He went to school at Uvalde High School and worked as a Plumber for Richardson Plumbing for 20 plus years. He was a veteran and served in the Army. Joe was involved in the Uvalde Volunteer Fire Department, and a long-time baseball Coach for the Uvalde Little League and Babe Ruth League.  He was also a member of the Montell Country Club.

Joe is survived by wife Maxine Scott of Uvalde, brother Ray Scott of Uvalde, two Children and their wives, Jeff and Monica Scott of Houston, John and Cindi Scott of Dallas, two grandchildren, Madeleine Scott and Everett Scott, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by Willie and Lily Scott, brothers Frank Scott, Freddie Scott , Mitchell Scott, and two sisters Barbara Champagne.and Ella Ruth Brice

A graveside funeral service will be held on November 21st at 2pm at the Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Everett Scott, Justin Henderson, David Michael Scott, Michael Postell, Jimmy Everett, Larry Wilde.
