Caroline Ann Haynes, 91, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on March 31, 2026, at Uvalde Memorial Hospital.
She was born on November 5, 1934, in Rochester, New York to Anne (Backus) and William Wagner.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Wagnon and husband, Walt of Arnett, Oklahoma, son, Bill Haynes and wife, June of Voss, Texas; grandchildren, W. C. Wagnon, Ryan Wagnon, Megan Wagnon Hight, Jory Haynes, and Darla Haynes Heider; ten great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Aubrey Haynes; and brother, Billy Wagner.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 11 a.m. with visitation prior to the service at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Interment will follow at Concan Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Wagner, Will Wagner, Aubrey Paul Haynes, Bo Haynes, Gene Haynes, and Zac Reavis
Honorary pallbearers will be John Colby Powell, Thomas Powell, Travis Powell, Billy Wagner, Rod Wagner, Paul Lopez, Robert Lopez, Felix Lopez, Hoot Haynes, James Haynes, Jason Wooldridge, Kevin Lafferty, Justin Speer, and Cline Speer.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Uvalde Youth Rodeo Club, P.O. Box 5414, Uvalde, TX 78802 and Uvalde Volunteer Fire Department, 123 S. Getty St., Uvalde, TX 78801
